Grand Canyon helicopter and airplane tours offer some of the most spectacular views of the Grand Canyon you can receive, but they are not the only way to experience the canyon. Once in the National Park, you’ll find plenty of park run services to assist you in your visit. Free shuttle buses operate on four routes on the South Rim at Grand Canyon National Park: Hermits Rest Route, Village Route, Kaibab Trail Route, and Canyon View/Mather Point Route (for visitors needed mobility assistance). No tickets are required, and bus stops are clearly marked throughout the park by signs.

Hiking trails and mule rides are two options for arriving on the canyon floor. Helicopter tours for those with less time or mobility are also available. Once in the canyon, boat tours and white water rafting tours along the Colorado River are sure to be memorable lifetime experiences. Back along the top of the rim, there are plenty of other tour options available such as jeep tours, ATV tours, luxury van tours, Hummer tours, or SUV tours. The most popular ways to reach and see the Grand Canyon are described briefly below.
